But Six Rings, And I Rise

Dear Daydream,
I apologize for not visiting
Life has become so structured
No time for wistful thinking
I haven't drawn a single figure
My books are dust collecting
No time for poems conjured

This letter is my only attempt
To make amends with your contempt

Your forever, but temporarily withheld friend,

Rhyme inspired by a lack of daydreaming
And by "Daydream Believer" by The Monkees
